Inclusion Curriculm for the Classroom

Our two curricula offer educational activities at the 1st and 2nd-grade reading level for students reading the Finding My Way series: 

Finding My Way to the Best Me: 
An Inclusive Social-Emotional Learning Curriculum

The Finding My Way to the Best Me: An Inclusive Social-Emotional Learning curriculum is comprised of six primary areas of social-emotional development critical to the success of our youngest elementary aged students. The areas include Caring, Self-control, Responsibility, Cooperation, Commitment and Respect. This curriculum supplements the Finding My Way book series that was created to reach students with disabilities and their classmates. In addition, each lesson has many social-emotional skills embedded in them.

Finding My Way to Fun: 
An Inclusive Language Arts & Math Curriculum

The activities in this Curriculum Guide support the Common Core State Standards in Language Arts & Math grades K-1. They reinforce Language Arts skills including; Word Work, Vocabulary Acquisition, Comprehension Strategies: compare and contrast, inferencing, recalling information, retelling and sequencing events, writing narrative, informational and persuasive accounts and Math Skills in counting and cardinality, operations and algebraic thinking, numbers, and operations in base ten, geometry, and real-world problem-solving.

Finding My Story
STEAM Six-week curriculum

Description: Finding My Story STEAM six-week curriculum creates a learning experience that opens up new thoughts and understanding about how to be more inclusive and caring while teaching science, technology, engineering, theater, and math skills. It includes self-awareness activities to provide the opportunity for students to discover more about themselves. 

This curriculum is linked to the Finding My Way Book series: I Want to Be Like Poppin' Joe, Kaitlyn Wants to See Ducks, I Don't Know If I Want a Puppy, Marco and I Want to Play Ball, and Waylon Wants to Jam.
